Welcome to Artline – Journey Three ! Our travels are almost over, but we still have time to be introduced to Ancient Mythological creatures, early Christian Art and Sanctuaries and visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

We will be the guests at the first Olympic Games in Greece and explore the temples of the goddesses.

And since you are having so much fun creating Art inspired by your travels, you will continue to explore cultural Art Activities.

The Byzantine Empire- Byzantium-AD 330-1453-  is also referred to as the Eastern Roman Empire and was the longest lasting medieval power. Its' capital was Constantinople, modern day Istanbul, Turkey and ruled land in Italy, Greece, the Balkans, the Levant, Asia Minor,  and North Africa.
