I work in stoneware and sculptural clay from mugs, bowls, to sculptural human forms. In my clay pieces I want the user or viewer to feel the connection between the clay piece and how it was created by hand, and how it feels to use and to touch.
I am inspired by the shapes and forms in nature that I see around me and incorporate these in both the making and the glazing process. My clay work is both wheel and hand-built.
